The Kindamina Lake area is located approximately 90 miles West of Fairbanks, 18 miles South of Manley Hot Springs, 13 miles West of the Kantishna River, and 8 miles Southwest of the Tanana River. The popular Deadman Lake Subdivision is approximately 18 miles to the East.
Primary access to the lots at Kindamina Lake is by float/ski plane, and snowmachine along the trails in Winter. Summer access by ATV is not viable. Elevation is approximately 450-500 feet above sea level. Lots in this development are wooded with Black Spruce and Alder. The lake is approximately 1 and a half miles long and a half-mile wide and contains northern pike and whitefish.
The lot is located on Kindamina drive, and is set back about 400 feet from the edge of the lake. There are numerous ponds in the immediate area.
There are no utilities available in this portion of rural Alaska. Water supply or sewage disposal systems must be located, constructed, and equipped in accordance with the requirements, standards, and recommendations of the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation.
There are no annual taxes.
Surrounding land use is primarily recreational or wildlife habitat.
Summertime temperatures reach into the 70 degree range, with wintertime temperatures dropping to -40 degrees. Wintertime snowfall is estimated at 50-60 inches.
Manley Hot Springs is a small community of approximately 75 residents, with a local clinic, roadhouse, landfill, school, and a small-scale commercial hot springs attraction.
